Welcome to the website of the OLMUN!
We are grateful for your interest in our work.
This year‘s OLMUN Conference will take place from the 09th to the 12th of June 2009.
The OLMUN, which is short for OLdenburg Model United Nations, is an annually held conference in English simulating the processes at a United Nations Conference.
Over one week in June 650 (2008) pupils from various European countries represent one state in small groups and discuss current political themes from its point of view.
This website was primarily established for providing you with help and support on any information you may need regarding the agenda or organisational issues.
You will find information on the OLMUN itself, the OLMUN e.V., the team leading the organisation, and a press briefing. We further offer support on how to set up MUN-groups in the particular schools as well as concerning thematic and formal aspects of the conference.
Since the last OLMUN a entirely digital application is possible adventitiously.
At this point we would like to draw your attention to our housing programme, which is unique of its kind at MUNs and always offers an interesting week for both host families and hosts.
We hope that our newly built website will assist you in acquiring information on the OLMUN conferences and simplify the registration process.
