Welcome to the OLMUN Website!

Currently, we are setting up a new website, thus you will find only the most basic information regarding the Oldenburg Model United Nations Conference, which is to celebrate ist 10th annual installment from May 31st, 2010 – June 3rd, 2010.

OLMUN is one of Germany’s largest MUN Conferences, attracting up to 700 students between the ages of 16 to 19 as delegates, administrative staff, chairs and journalists.

The General Assembly is located in the Conference Center “Weser-Ems-Hall”, while the Committees and Council are located in the Assembly Halls of Oldenburg’s Secondary Schools. Students participating in the Security Council Simulation will hold their meetings in the Conference Room of the “Old City Hall”.

Besides the Security Council and the General Assembly, the following Committees are simulated at OLMUN 2010:

  • The General Assembly’s 1st Committee
  • The General Assembly’s 3rd Committee
  • The General Assembly’s 4th Committee
  • The United Nations Environment Program Governing Council
  • The Human Rights Council
  • The Special Conference
  • The Economic and Social Council
